The ballet canvas shoe has a split suede sole, which keeps the foot flexible. An elastic band runs across the instep. This elastic band is already sewn on in the heel area. To achieve a perfect hold, the dancer shortens the straps to the required length and then sews them on. The drawstring in the hem allows the width to be adjusted individually.
